Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide thorough dental cleanings and preventive care to patients
• Assess patients' oral health and partner with the dentist on treatment plans
• Take and process dental X-rays with accuracy and care
• Educate patients on brushing, flossing, and overall oral wellness
• Maintain a sterile, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
• Document patient care clearly and completely
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care for every visit

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Pennsylvania
• Current CPR certification
• Clinical experience as a dental hygienist
• Strong communication and patient education skills
• Ability to work independently and alongside a dentist
• Commitment to safety, hygiene, and exceptional patient care

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene techniques and instruments
• Skilled in dental radiography and X-ray safety
• Comfortable with electronic dental records and charting software
• Excellent interpersonal skills for patient interaction
• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
• Capacity to adapt quickly to new settings and schedules
