Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental hygiene care, including teeth cleaning and preventive treatments
• Take and interpret dental X-rays to support diagnostics
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Assist the dentist during procedures and maintain a sterile environment
• Document patient care and treatment plans accurately

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Dental Hygienist license in good standing
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience in clinical dental hygiene settings
• Strong knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization protocols
• Excellent patient communication and customer service skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in dental radiography and digital X-ray systems
• Knowledge of periodontal disease prevention and treatment
• Understanding of HIPAA and patient safety standards
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Caring, empathetic approach with patients
