Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontist with patient procedures and treatments
• Prepare patients for orthodontic visits and take dental X-rays
• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and care of orthodontic appliances
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes
• Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients

Qualifications

• Orthodontic certification required
• Experience as a dental assistant preferred
• Proficiency with dental software (e.g., Denticon) is a plus
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced dental office

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and terminology
• Understanding of dental radiography and safety protocols
• Skill in patient preparation and chairside assistance
• Ability to work collaboratively with dental team
