Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform professional dental cleanings and assess patients' oral health
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
• Document patient care and treatment plans accurately
• Assist the dentist during procedures to ensure a smooth patient experience
• Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, safe clinical environment

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Pennsylvania
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong clinical skills in dental prophylaxis and scaling
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities
• Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments as a per diem hygienist

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental anatomy and periodontal diseases
• Proficiency with dental software and charting systems
• Understanding of infection control and OSHA standards
• Skill in taking digital radiographs
• A compassionate, patient-focused approach
