Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental hygiene care, including cleanings and prophylaxes
• Take and develop dental x-rays to support accurate diagnoses
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Assist dentists during procedures and ensure patient comfort
• Document patient care thoroughly and maintain accurate records
• Sterilize and prepare dental instruments, maintaining a safe environment

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Pennsylvania
• Current CPR certification
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments, materials, and sterilization protocols
• Radiography and x-ray safety techniques
• Patient education and oral health promotion
• Proficiency with electronic health records
• Infection control and OSHA standards
