Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor patient vital signs including blood pressure and pulse oximetry throughout oral surgery procedures
• Assist with nitrous oxide and IV sedation, ensuring patient comfort and safety
• Take panoramic X-rays to support accurate diagnoses and treatment planning
• Support the surgeon during wisdom tooth extractions and other oral surgeries
• Provide clear post-operative instructions to patients and caregivers
• Maintain a clean, sterile environment and prepare surgical instruments

Qualifications

• Experience as a dental assistant, preferably in oral surgery
• Current certification as a Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent
• BLS/CPR certification required
• Comfortable working with vital signs monitoring and sedation techniques
• Knowledge of panoramic X-ray equipment and dental procedures

Knowledge & Skills

• Vital signs monitoring (BP, Pulse O2)
