Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during patient examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment, maintaining the highest standards of infection control
• Take dental X-rays and impressions as needed, providing accurate diagnostic support
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-treatment care, fostering long-term dental health
• Maintain accurate patient records and update treatment plans, ensuring continuity of care
• Provide a welcoming and comfortable environment for patients, easing any anxiety about dental visits

Qualifications

• Completion of a dental assisting program and certification as a Dental Assistant
• Valid X-ray certification and CPR/BLS certification
• Previous experience in orthodontics is preferred but not required for enthusiastic candidates
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly with patients and team members

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization techniques, and infection control protocols
• Familiarity with dental software and record-keeping systems
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
