Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform modified barium swallow studies (MBS) independently
• Provide comprehensive speech therapy services for acute care, rehab, and SNF patients
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Document patient progress accurately in EMR system
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Active Hawaii rehab licensure in the appropriate discipline
• BLS/BCLS certification
• ASHA certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably with SNF or rehab hospital experience
• Independent proficiency in completing MBS studies without supervision

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of modified barium swallow studies
• Experience with EMR documentation
• Acute care and SNF rehabilitation skills
• Excellent clinical assessment and treatment skills
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload
