Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during assigned shifts
• Assess patients' clinical status and intervene appropriately to support outcomes
• Administer medications and treatments safely, following policy and best practice
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the record
• Educate patients and families on condition management and discharge planning
• Maintain professional standards, infection control, and safety protocols

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in California
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; additional certifications a plus
• Prior clinical nursing experience preferred; per diem or acute care experience valued
• Ability to pass required health screenings and background checks
• Strong communication skills and comfort working in fast-paced environments

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred where available
• Completion of an accredited nursing program and state licensure

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Medication administration and IV competency
• Proficient charting and documentation practices
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time during busy shifts
• Teamwork mindset and effective communication with patients and staff
