Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility assistance
• Monitor and report patient conditions to the nursing team promptly and accurately
• Assist with basic clinical tasks and support nurses to ensure smooth care delivery
• Maintain clean, safe patient environments and follow infection control protocols
• Document care activities clearly and timely in patient records
• Support patients' emotional well-being through respectful communication and encouragement

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification required
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Comfortable with 12-hour day shifts and standing or walking for long periods
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
• Ability to follow facility policies, safety procedures, and patient care plans

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

• Basic patient care techniques and safe patient handling
• Familiarity with vital signs monitoring and recording
• Strong infection control and hygiene practices
• Teamwork and the ability to take direction from RN/LVN staff
• Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced healthcare setting
