Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to patients as a Certified Nursing Assistant
• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and eating
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
• Support safe patient mobility and fall-prevention measures
• Maintain clear, timely documentation of patient care and observations
• Collaborate with nurses and the care team to ensure excellent patient outcomes
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment
• Communicate with patients and families with empathy and professionalism

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
• BLS/CPR certification (preferred)
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Comfortable working day shifts and adapting to per-diem schedules
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or hospital settings preferred

Education

• Completion of an accredited CNA program or equivalent
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Understanding of patient care fundamentals and ADLs
• Proficiency measuring and documenting vital signs
• Basic infection control practices and safe patient handling
• Familiarity with clinical documentation and following care plans
• Good interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and staff
• Reliability, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks
