Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, hands-on patient care as a Certified Nursing Assistant
• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, and mobility
• Monitor and accurately document vital signs and patient observations
• Support the nursing team with safe patient transfers and positioning
• Maintain a clean, safe environment following infection control protocols
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the care team to support continuity of care

Qualifications

• Valid California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Comfortable working overnight (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) shifts
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Recent TB test and health screening per facility requirements (as applicable)

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an approved CNA program and current state certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient care best practices and activities of daily living
• Vital signs assessment and documentation
• Infection control and proper PPE use
• Basic patient mobility and safe transfer techniques
• Familiarity with electronic charting/EMR is a plus
• Time management and prioritization during overnight shifts
