Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor telemetry and cardiac rhythms closely to identify changes in patient status
Provide direct patient care including medication administration, assessments, and documentation
Communicate clearly and promptly with interdisciplinary team members about patient changes
Respond to patient needs and escalate concerns in a timely, professional manner
Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions with empathy
Maintain accurate, timely charting and follow unit policies and safety protocols

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
Prior telemetry experience preferred or recent experience on a medical-surgical/telemetry unit
Current BLS required; ACLS preferred or available based on facility policy
Ability to work per diem shifts, including weekends when needed
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with a team

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in cardiac rhythm interpretation and telemetry monitoring
Skilled in medication administration and IV therapy basics
Comfortable with electronic medical records and accurate documentation
Excellent critical thinking and patient assessment abilities
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
