Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and recovery
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs, ensuring safety at every stage
• Assist with pain management options and provide emotional support to families
• Collaborate with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals to deliver the best outcomes
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in electronic health records

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Virginia (or compact state)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS and NRP certifications preferred
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong understanding of obstetrical nursing procedures and protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Proficient in fetal monitoring and interpretation
