Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 0700 start time with variable end times; every 3rd weekend on call and 2 on-call days per week

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations
Monitor patient vital signs and hemodynamic status during procedures
Administer medications and contrast media as ordered
Provide pre- and post-procedure patient education and care
Maintain sterile field and assist physicians with procedural needs
Document patient care accurately and promptly

Qualifications

Current RN license in Iowa or compact state
BLS and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience preferred
Ability to take call and respond within 30 minutes

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation
Sterile technique and infection control
Hemodynamic monitoring and pressure waveforms
Contrast media administration and management
Strong communication and teamwork skills
