Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic tests such as pulmonary function tests, arterial blood gas analysis, and sleep studies to assess patient respiratory health
• Administer and monitor oxygen therapy, mechanical ventilation, and inhalation therapy to support patients in critical and acute care settings
• Educate patients and their families on disease management, breathing techniques, and proper use of respiratory equipment
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and sleep technologists to develop and implement personalized patient care plans
• Maintain accurate, complete patient records and documentation to ensure continuity of care
• Stay current with the latest developments in respiratory therapy and contribute to continuously improving patient care processes

Qualifications

• Active Oklahoma state license (must be currently active)
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required
• Current BLS/BCLS certification
• Minimum 3 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
