Roles & Responsibilities

Provide effective respiratory care through patient assessment and diagnostics
Administer therapeutic treatments based on physician orders and protocols
Educate patients and families on respiratory care techniques
Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as needed

Qualifications

Current RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) certification from NBRC
Active Oregon Respiratory Care License
BLS certification required upon hire
ACLS certification required within 90 days
PALS certification required within 90 days
NRP certification required within 6 months
2+ years of clinical respiratory care experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Patient care skills for assisting and caring for others
Effective written and oral communication skills
Time management and prioritization abilities
Conflict resolution skills for handling disputes
Social perceptiveness to work with diverse populations
Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
