Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide specialized nursing care to trauma and surgical patients on a high-acuity unit
Manage acute injuries including gunshot wounds and spinal cord injuries
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Utilize EPIC for accurate documentation and patient handoffs
Supervise nursing support techs and coordinate care with phlebotomists and unit secretaries

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Surgery Trauma nursing
Active BLS certification required
ACLS certification preferred
EPIC proficiency required
Willingness to work flexible shifts without block scheduling

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in trauma and surgical nursing
Strong skills in EPIC and electronic medical records
Knowledge of BLS and ACLS protocols
Ability to handle high-acuity, fast-paced environments
