Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care using the full nursing process: assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to physician orders
Document resident care and progress thoroughly and timely to ensure continuity and quality of care
Interpret diagnostic tests and incorporate findings into individualized plans of care
Collaborate proactively with interdisciplinary team members to achieve positive resident outcomes
Educate residents and families about care plans, medications, and health maintenance
Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance resident care quality and safety

Qualifications

Current California RN license (required)
Current certification in CPR (required)
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
Demonstrated ability in nursing assessment, medication administration, documentation, and care planning

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and nursing diagnosis
Care planning and implementation
Medication administration and safe practices
Accurate clinical documentation
Ability to interpret diagnostic test results
Strong interdisciplinary collaboration and communication
Cultural competency and resident-centered education

Benefits

Sign-on bonus: $7,500.00
Progressive pay scale with 30 pay increments to reward up to 30 years of relevant experience
