Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans using GE Discovery 450 and other CT equipment to support accurate diagnoses
• Operate imaging equipment safely and follow radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff
• Use Meditech EMR to document exams, update patient records and communicate results efficiently
• Prepare patients for procedures, provide clear instructions and ensure comfort and safety throughout imaging
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists and clinical teams to prioritize patient care and workflow
• Work independently when needed, triage urgent imaging requests and adapt to changing unit needs

Qualifications

• BLS (required) and ARRT certification (required)
• Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience preferred
• ACLS, RT (T), ASRT or FASRT certifications are a plus
• Comfortable working 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
• Ability to work independently, think critically and adapt to a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven experience with CT imaging and cross-sectional anatomy
• Familiarity with GE Discovery 450 CT systems
• Experience with Meditech or similar EMR platforms
• Basic MRI and X-ray knowledge to support cross-training or unit needs
• Strong patient communication and positioning skills
• Understanding of radiation safety and imaging protocols
