Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging across a full range of studies including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine and musculoskeletal exams
• Prepare and administer contrast media safely and document administration in EPIC and unit systems
• Start and manage peripheral IVs for contrast administration and special procedures
• Assist with and perform image-guided procedures such as aspirations, biopsies and drainages
• Acquire vascular CTA studies and perform multiplanar reconstructions as needed
• Operate and optimize Siemens and GE CT scanners (Siemens Definition 128, Siemens Force 256, GE Optima 64)
• Chart accurately in EPIC/McKesson and communicate findings and patient status with the interdisciplinary team
• Maintain patient safety and comfort across outpatient, inpatient, ER and ICU settings

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years CT experience required (traveler-friendly — first-time travelers accepted)
• ARRT (CT) certification required; ARRT (R) preferred
• BLS certification required
• Competent in peripheral IV insertion and IV starts (required)
• Experience with EPIC and McKesson charting systems
• Comfortable performing biopsies, aspirations, CT arthrography, drainage procedures and vascular CTA
• Ability to attend ~64 hours orientation (3 days corporate + 1 week facility/precepted) and be fully available during orientation window
• Fully vaccinated per facility guidelines; flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)

Knowledge & Skills

• CT imaging protocols and cross-sectional anatomy
• Contrast media preparation and safe administration practices
• Peripheral IV insertion and management
• Image-guided procedures: biopsies, drainages, aspirations
• Vascular CTA acquisition and multiplanar reconstruction skills
• Equipment familiarity: Siemens Definition 128, Siemens Force 256, GE Optima 64
• Charting and documentation in EPIC and McKesson
• Experience across outpatient, inpatient, ER and ICU care settings
