Location: Garrison, North Dakota

Start Date: 07-27-2026

End Date: 10-26-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day shift, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 12-hour shifts, every other weekend and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Serve as charge nurse, overseeing daily operations and leading the care team
Administer medications accurately and safely to residents
Perform wound care and monitor healing progress
Provide compassionate care to residents with heart disease, diabetes, dementia, and other conditions
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including physical therapy and social worker designee
Monitor residents' conditions and promptly report changes to the physician on call

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS Certification required
Minimum 2 years of Long Term Care (LTC) experience
Ability to work every other weekend and major holidays
Must pass a background check and drug screen

Knowledge & Skills

Charge nurse experience
Medication administration skills
Wound care proficiency
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Knowledge of Matrix EMR is a plus
