Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients in the Progressive Care Unit with skill and compassion
• Administer medications, including chemotherapy, following ONS guidelines
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on treatment protocols and recovery
• Document patient progress accurately and timely

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required
• ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Course is preferred
• Oncology experience is a plus
• OCN certification is valued

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical knowledge of progressive care nursing
• Proficiency in administering both vesicant and non-vesicant chemotherapy
• Excellent assessment and critical thinking abilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
