Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, family-centered nursing care to pediatric ICU patients
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, promptly recognizing changes
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
• Educate and support families while documenting care accurately

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Massachusetts or compact state
• BLS certification required
• PALS certification required for PICU setting
• Previous pediatric or critical care experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and a calm, reassuring presence

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of pediatric critical care protocols
• Ability to quickly assess and respond to changing patient conditions
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Proficiency with electronic health records
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach
