Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to PCU, MedSurg and Telemetry patients during night shifts
• Monitor telemetry and assess patient conditions, responding quickly to changes
• Perform charge nurse duties, coordinating patient flow and supporting the care team
• Float to other units as needed, bringing flexibility and teamwork to every assignment
• Document patient care accurately and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
• Mentor and support staff while ensuring a safe, healing environment

Qualifications

• Active RN license required
• Minimum 5 years of nursing experience
• Current ACLS and BLS/BCLS certifications
• Experience in PCU, MedSurg and Telemetry
• Charge nurse experience and ability to work independently
• Willingness to float to other units as needed

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong telemetry and cardiac monitoring skills
• Proficient in PCU and MedSurg nursing interventions
• Leadership and charge nurse capabilities
• Critical thinking and quick decision-making under pressure
• Adaptability and team-oriented floating skills
