Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage patients with progressive care needs
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Assess and document patient conditions and progress
• Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN license in Louisiana
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of PCU or step-down experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to manage multiple patients in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
