Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and assess patients in a progressive care unit
• Administer medications and treatments with precision and care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and update patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on conditions, medications, and aftercare
• Respond quickly to changes in patient status and intervene as needed
• Document patient care accurately and timely

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Michigan or compact state
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Previous PCU, telemetry, or med-surg experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation
• Patient assessment and triage
• Medication administration and IV therapy
• Electronic health records (EHR) documentation
• Team collaboration and patient education
