Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients recovering from anesthesia and surgery
• Monitor vital signs and assess patient condition post-operatively
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure safe recovery
• Educate families on post-procedure care
• Manage pain and administer medications as ordered

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Ohio
• BLS and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of PACU or critical care experience preferred
• Pediatric experience strongly preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of pediatric anesthesia recovery protocols
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Proficiency in electronic medical records
