Shift Type: Variable shifts, 8.5-hour shifts

Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, expert nursing care to post-anesthesia patients
Monitor vital signs and manage pain levels during recovery
Assess patient condition and collaborate with the surgical team
Educate patients and families on post-operative care
Maintain a safe, sterile environment and adhere to protocols

Qualifications

Current RN license in Louisiana (or compact state)
BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA
Previous PACU or critical care experience preferred
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in post-anesthesia nursing
Proficient in patient monitoring and pain management
Excellent communication and teamwork
Knowledge of sterile techniques and infection control
Basic computer and documentation skills
