Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, specialized nursing care to pediatric patients in the operating room
- Assist surgeons and surgical team during procedures, ensuring a sterile environment
- Monitor patient vital signs and manage anesthesia support
- Advocate for patient safety and comfort before, during, and after surgery
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal outcomes
Qualifications
- Current RN license in Washington state
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Experience in perioperative nursing, preferably pediatrics
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of surgical aseptic technique and sterile processing
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working with pediatric patients and their families
