Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
• Assess patient health status pre-, intra-, and post-operatively
• Assist surgeons and surgical team during operations
• Monitor vital signs and anesthesia recovery, ensuring patient safety
• Maintain a sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols
• Document all nursing interventions and patient responses accurately

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Oregon
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Operating Room experience preferred
• Ability to work flexible shifts including on-call as needed

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong understanding of surgical aseptic technique and sterile processing
• Proficiency in patient assessment and critical thinking under pressure
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with surgical instruments and equipment
