Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to neonates in a Level III NICU
• Monitor vital signs and administer medications as ordered
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop care plans
• Educate and support families during their baby's stay
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety protocols
• Assist with procedures and emergency interventions as needed

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Virginia (compact license accepted)
• Current BLS and NRP certifications
• Minimum 1 year of recent NICU experience
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education

• Associate's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in neonatal assessment and care
• Knowledge of ventilator management and monitoring
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR)
