Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care as a Registered Nurse on the MST team
- Perform thorough assessments and develop clear, practical care plans
- Administer medications and treatments safely and document all interventions accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate excellent patient care
- Educate patients and families with clarity, patience, and empathy
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and timely clinical documentation
- Respond professionally to changing clinical situations and escalate concerns as needed
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse license (California) — must be valid
- Experience or familiarity with MST clinical workflows is a strong plus
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications welcomed
- Comfortable administering medications, performing assessments, and documenting care
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid clinical assessment and triage abilities
- Medication administration and IV therapy knowledge
- Clear, concise documentation in electronic medical records
- Team collaboration and interdisciplinary communication
- Patient education and discharge planning experience
- Ability to work independently in a per diem setting and adapt quickly
