Candidate Pay Rate: $52 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to pediatric med/surgical patients
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and discharge planning
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the patient medical record
Participate in orientation and unit-based training to support competency and teamwork

Qualifications

Current, active RN license in Missouri (required)
BLS/CPR certification required; PALS or pediatric certification preferred if available
Previous Med/Surgical and pediatric nursing experience is a strong plus
Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and any required health screenings
Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, diploma, or BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

Solid knowledge of pediatric med/surgical nursing practices and standards
Proficiency in medication administration and IV therapy
Skilled in patient assessment, care planning, and clinical documentation
Comfortable working with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
