Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Flexible shifts, 12.5-hour shifts, various days including weekends

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg patients
Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience preferred
BLS certification required (AHA)
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and patient needs

Education

Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in EHR systems and medical software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patients effectively
Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
