Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate nursing care to pediatric patients in the Med/Surg unit
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
• Monitor patient vital signs, administer medications, and perform treatments
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge plans
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with hospital policies

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Washington State (or compact license)
• BLS certification required
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Education

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing

Knowledge & Skills

• Pediatric assessment and critical thinking
• Medication administration and IV therapy
• Patient and family education
• Electronic health record (EHR) proficiency
• Team collaboration and adaptability
