Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to medical-surgical patients
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and vital signs
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies safely
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to create and update care plans
• Educate patients and their families on diagnoses, medications, and discharge instructions
• Respond quickly and effectively to changes in patient status
• Maintain accurate and thorough electronic health records

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia or compact privilege
• Current BLS certification required
• Previous med-surg or acute care nursing experience preferred, but new graduates with strong clinical rotations are welcome to apply
• Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) documentation
• Sound knowledge of medication administration and IV therapy
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patient needs
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
• Adaptability and quick problem-solving in a dynamic setting
