Location: Dickinson, North Dakota

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day/Night Rotating, 12-hour shifts, every third weekend, block scheduling

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and their newborns in a close-knit rural hospital
Monitor and titrate drips such as Magnesium, Oxytocin, and other medications
Support mother-baby couplets with postpartum care and education
Collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure safe deliveries and positive outcomes
Float to MSP or ER on occasion for helping hands and patient sitting
Utilize OB Trace Vue for electronic fetal monitoring

Qualifications

Active RN license and 2 years of L&D experience required
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications are essential
Willingness to float and work in a rural setting with limited services
Comfortable with neonatal ventilation and CPAP/BiPAP equipment
No clinical involvement? Wait, that might be a typo - but you'll definitely be hands-on!

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in labor and delivery nursing including antepartum and postpartum care
Proficient in OB Trace Vue electronic fetal monitoring
Skilled in titrating drips and managing complex medications
Knowledge of AWHONN guidelines for nurse-to-patient ratios
Neonatal resuscitation and ventilation skills
