Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional nursing care to labor and delivery patients
• Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs during labor
• Assist with deliveries and newborn care
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team for optimal outcomes
• Educate families on postpartum care and newborn feeding

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Louisiana
• BLS certification required
• ACLS and NRP certifications preferred
• Minimum 1 year of L&D experience

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Proficiency in electronic health records
