Roles & Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to approved nursing techniques and state regulations
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner following standards of care
• Develop and execute individualized patient care plans based on physician orders and hospital policy
• Participate in performance improvement activities and shared governance to enhance patient outcomes
• Provide clinical expertise and guidance to other units in support of the patient's longitudinal plan of care
• Apply critical thinking to ensure patient safety and positive patient experience, escalating concerns appropriately

Qualifications

• Current Wisconsin RN license (must be active prior to start)
• AHA Provider level BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience in acute dialysis nursing preferred
• Ability to work every other weekend and rotating holidays
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation

Knowledge & Skills

• Dialysis nursing expertise
• Proficiency in ACLS and BLS
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (Point Click EMR)
