Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage life-support equipment
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery goals
• Respond quickly to emergencies and changes in patient condition
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana or compact state
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in ICU nursing procedures and protocols
• Comfortable with ventilators, drips, and advanced monitoring
• Excellent time management and prioritization
• Empathetic and patient-centered approach
