Location: Breckenridge, MN

Start Date: 08-03-2026

End Date: 11-02-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend, holidays as scheduled

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality emergency and medsurg nursing care
Assess and stabilize patients in a fast-paced ER environment
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to deliver optimal patient outcomes
Float to Med/Surg and Swing bed units as needed
Accurately document patient information and administer medications per protocol
Monitor telemetry and interpret cardiac strips (Mindray monitors)
Participate in trauma activations and stroke code responses

Qualifications

Current RN license in MN or compact state required
Minimum 2 years of ER experience required
Previous Medsurg experience required
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required
PALS certification preferred
Must pass MN NETStudy background check

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to work in a Level IV Trauma Center with STEMI and Stroke designation
Comfortable with telemetry monitoring and reading own strips
Proficient in Point Click Care (PCC) charting
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Adaptable to floating between ER, Med/Surg, and Swing bed units
