Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care to patients with acute conditions
• Assess, triage, and stabilize patients in a fast-paced environment
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient assessments, care, and responses
• Educate patients and families on discharge instructions and follow-up care

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room experience preferred
• Ability to handle high-stress situations with composure
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Emergency nursing and trauma care
• Critical thinking and rapid decision-making
• Patient assessment and triage
• IV insertion and medication administration
• Use of emergency equipment and monitors
