Shift Type: As needed, flexible shifts including days, evenings, nights, and weekends

Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in the Emergency Department
Assess, triage, and treat patients with a wide range of acute conditions
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Administer medications, perform procedures, and monitor patient responses
Document patient care accurately and efficiently
Adapt quickly to changing patient needs and department flow

Qualifications

Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana
At least 1 year of recent ED/ER experience preferred
BLS and ACLS certifications required
PALS certification preferred
Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in emergency nursing and triage
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR)
Excellent problem-solving and prioritization skills
Compassionate patient-centered approach
