Roles & Responsibilities

• Circulate and monitor cardiac cath lab procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Provide skilled nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac, peripheral, neuro, and traumatic embolization procedures
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including RCIS and RT techs to deliver exceptional outcomes
• Utilize state-of-the-art GE MacLab hemodynamic monitoring systems to track patient status
• Assess patients pre and post procedure, managing their recovery and discharge education
• Respond to on-call emergencies within 30 minutes, bringing life-saving care when it matters most

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Texas or compact state (NLC)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Pre/Post op experience preferred
• IR experience and emergent stroke case experience a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Cardiac catheterization lab procedures
• Hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation
• Circulating and monitoring cases
• Electrophysiology (EP) procedures including ICDs, pacemakers, ablations
• Peripheral and neuro interventional care
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
