Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during braces and Invisalign procedures
• Prepare patients for dental treatment and ensure their comfort
• Take and process dental X-rays and impressions
• Document patient care and maintain accurate records
• Sterilize and organize dental instruments and equipment
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care plans

Qualifications

• Fully knowledgeable in orthodontics including braces and Invisalign
• Dental Assistant certification or state licensure as required in Virginia
• Previous experience in a dental or orthodontic office is a plus
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in orthodontic procedures and techniques
• Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization, and infection control
• Ability to take high-quality dental X-rays
• Understanding of patient record management and dental software
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
