Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide professional dental cleanings and preventive hygiene care
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and at-home care
• Document patient care accurately and collaborate with the dentist
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile clinical environment
• Work efficiently within 30-minute appointment slots to keep the schedule on track
• Build trusting relationships with patients through compassionate care

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in New Jersey
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience in clinical dental hygiene preferred
• Strong communication skills and a friendly chairside manner
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with the dental team

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of dental hygiene techniques and instruments
• Knowledge of infection control protocols and OSHA standards
• Patient education and motivational interviewing skills
• Attention to detail and strong documentation habits
• Excellent interpersonal skills with both patients and colleagues
