Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for orthodontic procedures and help them feel at ease
• Assist the orthodontist during exams, adjustments, and treatments
• Sterilize and organize instruments, keeping operatory rooms ready
• Take and process dental X-rays and records with precision
• Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene tips
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient charts and treatment notes

Qualifications

• Must be orthodontic certified
• Previous dental assisting experience is required
• Familiarity with denticon software is a plus
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dental office

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong understanding of orthodontic procedures and instruments
• Knowledge of dental terminology and chairside techniques
• Comfortable with sterilization and infection control standards
• Experience using dental software and patient management systems
• Great interpersonal skills and a team-player attitude
