Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during exams and procedures, ensuring a seamless patient experience
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and maintain a spotless treatment area
• Take and develop dental x-rays, impressions, and intraoral scans with precision
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Keep accurate patient records and update charts efficiently
• Provide compassionate care that puts patients at ease

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or similar certification preferred
• X-ray certification in Maryland (or ability to obtain)
• Experience with orthodontic procedures is a plus
• Excellent patient communication and chairside manner
• Ability to work a 12:30 PM - 8:00 PM shift

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterile techniques
• Familiarity with dental practice management software (e.g., Denticon)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
