Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of MRI procedures with precision and care, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images.
- Exercise independent judgment and initiative while conducting MRI exams under limited supervision.
- Maintain comprehensive MRI safety standards to protect patients and staff.
- Deliver compassionate imaging services to patients of all ages, including inpatients, outpatients, and emergency cases.
- Collaborate with the radiology team to support a full range of diagnostic services.
- Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure optimal imaging outcomes.
Qualifications
- Completion of a formal AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program
- Previous MRI experience in a hospital setting
- ARRT Registry certification
- MRI Registry certification
- Current CPR certification
- Venipuncture certification (or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire)
- At least 2 recent supervisory references
Education
- Formal AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
Knowledge & Skills
- Advanced knowledge of MRI techniques and safety protocols
- Radiologic Technology principles and practices
- ARRT and MRI registry standards
- CPR and venipuncture proficiency
- Strong independent judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent patient care skills across all age groups
